Live Run Performance

Live Run Performance

Documentation of a live durational run performed on a manual treadmill in the window space of the Morley Gallery for the exhibition 'Ricochet' in 2008. An attempt to cover the equivalent in time and distance to a half marathon, the recording of which was showing in the gallery as a two screen installation. Set on a continuous incline, and in a confined space, running on the treadmill was much tougher. The artist ran for a two and a quarter hours continuously before stopping, having reached the limit in time, but sadly not the distance.
