Thames Run: Source to Sea (Exhibition 2)

Thames Run: Source to Sea (Exhibition 2)

This was another iteration of the previously live artwork reconfigured into a single multi-media art installation in the solo exhibition category for the IMPACT12 International Multidisciplinary Printmaking Conference, in partnership with the Centre for Fine Print Research (CFPR), University of the West of England (UWE). 25th September - 28th September 2022.

The 8m wide map/planner/document/drawing formed the main part of the work, with drawn annotations indicating the proposed route and places to stay. Images and printed daily page-entries from the blog were placed at intervals along the route. Within each of these recycled mobile phones replayed the video footage that had originally been live-streamed during the run.

This time, a selection of the 245 mile-marker photographs taken during the run were incorporated into the map installation at their approximate location as was framed etching, making the artwork overall more contained.
